p2509 code today
i was takeing the smarty off the truck this afternoon and as soon as i got done and cranked the truck after i unhooked everything it threw the 2509 code for low input circuit error. i erased it and it hasnt come back on.
Do yall think it is cause of me taking the smarty off the truck. Or should i take the truck in to the dealer before i go on vaction?

I wouldn't worry. Take the Smarty with you if you'd like to clear codes and give you a power fix!
When I put my Smarty on first time I didn't like the smoke at all so I took it off within a few miles. Mine threw a VIN not in ECM code and died after a couple seconds. It fired right back up but kept the check engine light on. I cleared it with Smarty and have had no problems since. I have since switched programs to clear smoke and am running the mileage tune. I'm really happy with it. The only code I've seen since has been P0513 which is the truck didn't recognize the skim key. That can happen any time from what I've been told.
I have found that most every time the codes you get when loading and unloading the Smarty (or any downloader I guess) are the same codes Dodge will get when flashing your truck too. You're supposedly going through the same flash process so it makes sense to me.
Also your CAN-AM sounds pretty sweet, especially with nitrous!

thanks for the replies guys. my thats what i was thinking when it drove fine after i cleared the codes. Now i got to take it to the dealer since my injectors are rattling like crazy stock now.
Yea the can-am is my mud bog bike. I havent got the nitrous installed on it yet but it will fly without it.

I just threw a P2509
Drove to some bagel shop, no problem. Shut it down.
Started back up to leave, and it just died driving thru the parking lot. Put it in Neutral while still rolling and started it back up. 30 seconds later it died again. Edge J/A showed a "P2509".
Haven't done any mods in a while. Any ideas ??? Thanks.
