P2266 WIF Light
Heavy Rains in Phoenix
I have a PSM Intake
Drove through a huge puddle
I have an AirDog Fuel Pump (so dont think i have the stock WIF system - e.g. stock filter system removed)
Truck Flagged P2269 WIF Light / Code - i was in the middle of no where with my daughters so i drove a few miles toward civilization and the light went away.
1. Does the AirDog support the stock WIF Sensor? (i didnt install so not sure, drained Water Filter when got home)
2. Can this code be triggered by water through the intake (airbox had some water in bottom, filter looked dry, but AFE so paper and it may not show, no sign in intake).
3. Did i damage my truck by driving it? and what would trigger this code?
Thanks, very bad day already and now stressing on this.

You're going to need to check to see if the Airdog is plumbed into the stock fuel filter (where the WIF sensor is). IF it is, just drain the stock filter housing & carry on.
If you have the stock filter housing and the airdog is not plumbed to it, then I would drain it & carry on. Some how the there is water in the house? Not sure if someone capped the inlet or outlets of the stock housing.
If housing not there, and there is just a 2 lead wire with sensor on the end it got wet.
The Airdog has its own water separator. There is nothing there to plumb a sensor to. If you do some searching around, I beleive that Raco (not sure on the spelling) has a spin on water separtor that has a lower re-useable bowl that has a sensor. You'll need to run your existing wire to it. Or possible re-use the stock sensor with longer wiring to get to the airdog.
Let us know what you find.
