I just did some math and i come up with that the truck stock would put out 633tq and 349hp at the rear wheels 1019-386=633 and 549-200+349 Am i doing something wrong

Close, but not exact. It put around 600 tq at the ground with only exhaust and intake done to it. I do not remember exactly. I am looking for my Dyno sheet... I am running an auto in my truck and so far the tranny hates me. If you plan on running in extreme a lot then I would say a new TC is a must. I am looking into them and just trying to decide what I want to use. I am running my Pyro post turbo in Extreme it will hit 1260 after a run or two. It usually stays under mid to low 700 in performance around town. I have another Pyro that I am going to run pre turbo to see what temps are like as well.

I run pre and post EGT gauges and you can add another 150 to 300 degrees depending on cruising around or wot to your numbers. That would make it, per your numbers,...1560* at WOT! Yikes!!

The highest temp I have seen on my outlook is 1310. Never been over that at all.

That's because your probe is post turbo. You have to add the differential of at least 300* to the temp your reading since it is really a false reading. About the only thing a post turbo reading is good for is to measure cool down on the turbo. Just trying to help you here, but you are WAY beyond critical mass on this thing. You are definitely a candidate for twins,...as in yesterday. Check it out.

I've got the Power Pup and Outlook monitor and for me, the jury is still out. I can't see much difference in performance when I go from 100% to 75%, 50% and 0%. The most noticeable is at 0% but it still seems to be more than stock even at that setting.

I was frustrated at all this crap a few weeks ago and re-loaded the stock program. I ended up driving the truck for about a day before I realized I had the Outlook setting on 0% (stock at 0%). If any of you think your truck ran like crap before, try that one! Gutless turd!

The only other issue I have with my Outlook is that the tire recalibration setting or speed reading is WAY OFF! I have the proper tire setting selected and it reads about 5 mph high...atleast 5!

All this high tech stuff is fun and the gains are huge but, I still feel like there is something to be said for a stock rig and no worries.

I've ended up loading the 90 hp or performance setting and leaving it at 100% on the Outlook. I had always heard that Bully Dog had some of the lowest EGT's but on my truck (SO) I can take it up to 11-1200 degrees pretty easily. I am turning 37's so that might be one reason. I haven't spent much time towing the boat around but I'm concerned that even on the tow setting I'll have pretty high EGT's. Anyone else?

I really don't have lots of smoke unless I really jump on it hard. Normal driving conditions even a little harder than normal, I hardly notice a thing. For me, it's just on a real hard accelleration.

Hope I helped.

well, if i have it on the 130 hp setting and the outlook on 0% and pop the clutch in second and get on it, the smoke just pours out. Now i am really getting on it, but theroticaly, on 0% it still shouldnt smoke. Is taht similar to what you have??

My truck is an automatic and I have the weak California issue Standard Output Cummins. Trying to turn 37's on this truck in stock form is hard enough. This motor just doesn't have enough poop to really give'er hell. My truck is pretty much the same when I am running the 90hp setting and then bring it down to 0% on the Outlook (not much smoke if any).

Doesn't it sound like the Outlook at 0% is cutting the duration but evidently it can't stop that 50HP of fueling and it dumps it and Voila,...smoke.

Thank you for the heads up on the EGT's. The numbers I posted my egts for are in extreme, So I guess I will just run it in performance for now. I have thought about twins, but I need to work my tranny first and get that going before I start running it extreme.

Back in Nov they really did not have any '05 done so I was one of the firsts. I think I was kind of a beta version. I just paid the regular price for the Pup.
