Outlook or Isspro Gauges?
I posted the other day on my new Triple Dog that I got and now I need a set of gauges. What would be better, getting the Outlook from Bully Dog or a set of regular Isspro gauges? If I remember correctly I priced a pyro and boost for a lot less than the Outlook. Do I need anything other than a pyro and a boost? Thanks.

I ran a electronic X-monitor and had troubles with calibration, but it is all or none, luckly BD gave me a store credit, with it so I went back to the simple and effective gauge setup

It's a personal decision. Do you like the digital display, or the factory style full sweep gauges ? I chose Isspro Pyro, Boost, & Trans Temp. I used the cubby hole mount which leaves the pillar open for a future Fuel Pressure gauge when I decide to add a box.
Isspro gauges match the factory gauges pretty darn close. I never had an X-Monitor, but the Isspros are accurate and it was an easy install.

0425004x4,
For most folks I would say go with the Isspro's or any gauge that has the look you want. I find myself "seeing" my gauges without ever looking at them while the digital display I have is not "seen" without looking at it very easily. The Isspros look real good in a Dodge too, if you decide to go that way consider the overhead mount that goes above the rear view mirror up by the headliner, they hold 2,3 or 4 gauges. That way they are very easily see, but totally out of th eway at the same time. Call us if you have any questiosn we have all the Auto meter, isspro and DiPriocl gauges and mount and will be glad to help you.

Then summer came. It gets warm here, in the 90's often and occasionally the low 100's. The stickum on the plastic connectors that hold the mount to the windshield would not stick in the heat. I tried many different types, with no success. I had to move them to the A-Pillar.

Thanks guys. I have decided to go with the Isspro gauges. Now I just dont know what to get. Do I really need a fuel pressure gauge or Trans temp? I know I am getting a pyro and boost but I don't know what the 3rd should be. Also how do you hook up the fuel pressure gauge?

Analogue gauges
A good aspect about analogue gagues is that you can immediately see trends where an digital display one is looking at specfic numbers. I would recommend a tranny temp since you have an automatic. As far as fuel pressure, even if it is 1 psi at WOT you are still pushing fuel to the high pressure pump as the pressure is greater than atomspheric and that should be all it needs.

I would go with the tranny temp gauge in your case rather than the fuel pressure gauge. Also if you decide to go with the pod over the rearview mirror, the fuel pressure gauge would be a more difficult install. I don't think fuel pressure is as critical on a 3rd gen truck as it was on the 2nd gen ones.
