Out of the loop- Smarty Jr.

Ok, someone fill me in here. I have tried to search, but I don't have all day to read through countless pages.

I have the Jr, which I've had for about a year. It seems a while back that they discovered level 2 was actually the same as level 3. I see that they have updated the program, but what does that actually mean to me? Should I, and CAN I download the new software or stick with what I have? Are there any pros or cons? The way I understand it, I just have the 40 hp and 100 hp settings with my software. I'd like to have the 70hp setting, but I don't want to download it if there might be issues and confusion with the new program.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Download the new program! It has new Power On Demand that lets you shift on the fly. It also has the REVO that lets you pick your "torque" and "timing." The new software is crazy with options! Do a search and youll be blown away

Thanks guys. Either I'm just a fool or this gets complicated. Last I checked, there was a big debate and lots of confusion on what the different options actually did. Do you guys have any recommendations on what settings would be best for a daily driver with only light towing? Thanks!

The guys at MADS did some great work getting the JR updated and it works great. I'm running the REVO program, haven't downloaded POD yet but most people love it. You can detune the power and gain some much needed MPG's. I'm running SW3 TM2 and TQ2 for daily driving and I like the throttle responce with those settings. Just play with it and you'll find what works best for you.

Well, I'm trying to download it but I can't get it to work, the download that is. I'm a Mac user but I'm trying to run it on my wife's laptop to no avail.

I also have the JR beta 4 "low smoke version" that has the 100hp tow tune. I downloaded the Revo version, but I'm not sure if the new version corrects the tow tune to the 70hp level or not?

7-ZIP (72464) (do not forget to open or run it or whatever it is called)
Smarty 379KB
CDM-unzipped (Smarty 379KB opened up)

I got it downloaded yesterday, thanks for the help. I didn't get much time to play with it, but the PoD almost sounds too good to be true. Are you guys really seeing big increases in mileage?

I have mine on SW2 TM2 and TQ2 POD on 50 and I am seeing about a 3 mpg increase. I love it.
