Ordering Rims Need Advice On BS
Hey guys I found some really nice rims I'm gonna stick with 17's and just throw my 315 BFG's on them. My question is first off I have my BFG's on the stock 8 inch wheels will a 10" wheel be to wide? I think that it will actually flatten the tire out better if anything. Second I need to pick a BS, I wanted to maybe have a little more aggressive look than stock but not much so would I just stick with 4.5 BS and assume that the extra 2 inchs on width will give me that look?? I figure that the extra 2 inches will stick out 1 inch on the inside and 1 inch on the outside giving me the look I want. But I really need some good advice before I order so help me out guys!! One more thing my 315's barely clear now so I am going to have to lift after the 10" wheels so will a 2" leveling kit in the front give it enough clearence?? Thanks in advance

Personally, I don't care for 10" wheels for the most part unless you're getting into some wide tires like the 38's previously mentioned. The BFG's are perfect on an 8" wheel. Mine are 8.5" and my tire/wheel combo has been great so far. I've always ran 35x12.50 & 37x12.50's on 8" wheels, and they really don't need anything wider than a 9" wheel in my opinion. Try to get at a backspace of 5" at least. Mine are 5-1/8" and I like them.

With backspacing, you want as much as you can find. The less backspacing, the more of a clearance problem you'll have, not to mention increased scrub radius, etc...

Ya the wheels are Mazzi Hulks
I think I will go with 5" backspaceing from what I'm hearing. What do you guys think of these?? And has anyone had experience with these fitting in 17's??

Just look at my Gallory, those look exactly like my America Eagles, and all I could get were the 18x10 with 4.5 backspace. I had a leveling kit and they rubbed supper bad with 35 inch BFG M/T's, had to put on a 5.5 Fabtech and they still rubbed alittle so I did some trimming.
But I have to say after $4100 bucks my truck gets more looks than my porsche.......

The 18" and 20" Hulks are 4.5" BS and just like mkinla said they rub!! That BS sticks out really far and that's why the rubbing happens. I tried both and didn't like the look or the rubbing, that's why I switched to what I have now. I would say 5.5" BS is the minimum I would go on any rim.
