It is like the gear vendor is not there when not in use. It will free wheel like a manual front diff until you flip the switch and it engages. Says they handle up to 2000 hp not sure what the torque is though, so I think it would handle what you would throw at it. Here's the link, check it out and let me know. I could put one behind my auto to get better fuel mileage .

I made up my mind on the Gear vendor a long time ago when I "heard" they said no sled pull. I need to call them this week and find out for myself.

Yes, for me the Gear Vendor would fail (if it would fail) on the TQ, not the HP. But, like I said, if it is "not there" when off, then it wouldn't matter because I am much more gentle when towing. This is good news!

The wheels are Black powercoated since it holds up much better to elements than paint and/or clearcoat.

Don't the flares on your truck, and the other Mega Cabs look just like the late 80's early 90's dually truck flares? Don't get me wrong, you have a sweet truck, but come on, the flares look just like the old 1st gen trucks. It looks like you took a SRW truck and cheaply made a DRW.

I would have to disagree with you on that. Pickup trucks of today look similar to the trucks of 50 years ago, but that doens't mean they look the same. Just because you have a similar shape does not necessarily mean you have something thta looks "the same".

Someone needs to point out the differences in the flares - I must be slow or something.

That actually a very good compliment as to the workmanship. The flares are about 5" wider now.

Yes it is. All the great mods are the ones you don't notice.

Didn't read all the pages Dwiggs, but you have to fix that exhaust tip.

I really dig your truck wiggs. What are you thinking of doing exhaust wise?

Looks good Wiggs. Definately over the top, as mentioned in previous posts. You need to get it on a dyno for fun sometime!

IMO. I still think you could/should turn it into a Megacab Long Bed though. You could still keep your custom flares on a long bed right?
