Bad News!!!
The new leaf springs were just shipped out today from backorder and the turbo has yet to go out so it won't be done until after I have left for London. This means that it will most likely be Nov. 8-15 or so until I can get him back.
Believe me, no one is more angry than I am about not being able to see Optimus all done. If I receive pics via e-mail on my trip I will post them just for my DTR buddies!!!
Sorry for the bad news!

THere was a guy in Idaho that built a Pete into a pickup. Took the cab and nose and placed it on a 1 ton dually chassis. It was an old needle nose w/ butterfly hood. Looked killer!
Can't wait to see pics of the truck D!
Have a blast on your trip and God Speed!

T-Minus 18 Hours & Counting!!!!
Great News!!!
I pick up Optimus tomorrow afternoon!!!
He is not quite done. I still have to have the fender flares fully re-fiberglassed and painted to not only provide propper clearance for the new tires, but I am also going to have them extended so that they fully cover the rear tires!
The suspension went on nicely, but the huge wheels and tires proved to be more challenging hence the delays! Lots of bracket changing, grinding, and cutting went down to get them in.
The changes that have occurred are:
-New Suspension
-Wheels/Tires
-New Projector Headlights
-New Helix 2 Cam
-Re-hooked the factory fuel pump to help get the last bits of fuel from the tank to the GDP pump
-Camera added to trailer
Not sure what else but that's what happens after 50 days without the beast!
I will be posting pictures as soon as I get back!
I could post some teaser pics that the service manager took today, but since Optimus is filthy, it would ruin the surprise!
