Optimum RPM for shift points?
Well I finally got done with my tranny rebulid and it is 100 times better than stock! Now I get to do the fine tuning. I was wondering if there were any opinions about what the best shift points would be. I haven't done a WOT run yet, but have got on it pretty good while going from the on ramp to the interstate. All gears shifted around 1850-1900 Rpm's. I was thinking of adjusting to something closer to 2100 RPM's to take advantage of the torque curve. Any thoughts out there?

This is probably not what you're looking for, but on my 6speed, I shift any where from 1100 to about 1600, depending on traffic and road conditions.
With a load, I shift at about 2500 or higher to keep the EGT's down. High RPM makes a huge difference on EGTs.

That seems kinda low - even if you're not triple stacking that aftermarket fueling, you've got enough #2 for 3500 RPM - so I'd shift a lot higher than 2100!
Got any dyno #s for your rig?

XLR8R, I never thought about going that high. Guess I have ALOT of play room on this one. Unfortuntly I have no dyno numbers yet. I was going to do it at my folks shop, but the dyno setup has not come in yet. I'll have to wait till I get back to NM and go up to Albq. Also I want to wait till I get my GDP 392 ordred and installed. Just alittle piece of mind that I don't starve anything.
One thing I was wondering though. How does(if any)the Edge, Race, and Predator affect my shift points? Should I run and tune it stock then let the program(s) take over? Or should I find a base baseline program I like and do the mechanical adjustment from there?

What mechanical adjustment?
The stock fuel map defuels by 3200 RPM, so it functions as a rev limiter; aftermarket fueling often fuels harder & higher.
I know the Race alone would fuel to 3500 on the dyno.
