Opti-lube XPD
I just ordered 3 gallons of opti lube XPD. I have been running their summer blend now for about the last 750 gallons and i have not had any problems relating to fuel. (or anything else at that) according to studies, the XPD is supposed to be better than the summer blend so im giving it a shot. As soon as i can tell you all something ill let you know.

I too have been running the summer blend in both the Jetta and the truck.. I have a half gallon of the XPD as well, may need to do some testing with it once temps settle around here..

It worked good for me this winter...no gelling down to -35f. No increase noted in mileage though either. Spendy stuff for what I noticed. Using up my gallon and trying something else.

Since that Spicer lubricity report came out, I've stopped running any additives. Have always used one or the other IE howe's, power service, mmo, 2-stoke etc. since the truck was new. Last six months only using bio diesel for lubricity 2%. No fuel system problems to report but have always had the fass. Bio is way cheaper than any additive, proven the top lubricity agent. Optilube way too expensive

I've been using the XPD since it came on the market. My engine runs quieter, had 2-3 mpg gain after the first tankful of use. I have had no white smoke, no rough idle, no clatter. I am going to continue using it, while it is a little more costly that the other additives, none of them covered all the different issues that this stuff seems to cover and it is much less costly to use than injectors or pumps let alone an engine.
