Opinions on Boards/Tubes for '05 2500
I've been looking around at the various options for steps, boards, tubes, all styles of nerf bars. I've just about settled on the J&J Millenium one piece units. I'm not too crazy about the tubes and I want something that gives me a step back by the near cab portion of the bed. I'm going to install a fold-a-cover as soon as I get the bed sprayed and the boards installed - thus the desire to get to that portion of the bed.
I've looked at the boards by Southwest Fabricators, had them send me a brochure - they look very functional just not as good looking as the J&J product.
Are there any drawbacks to the J&J Millenium one piece units? Are the sturdy all the way back to the bed step area (how much do they flex)? Is there an option in a durable board that I've missed?
Thanks in advance.

I dont know if you'd be interested, I have a set of Mopar tubular steps that I took off my 2005 with about 2,000 miles on it. I put on the Diamond plate steps. These are like brand new, were only on truck for about 2 months, Pass. side was lucky it was used 3 or 4 times.
Good luck with whatever you go with.

There is at least one other guy here with the JnJ.....I have a set, but have not had a chance to put them on. They look like they will be very sturdy. 4 mounting brackets, 3 that bolt to the pinch-weld and underbody on each bracket (6 bolts each bracket) and 1 bracket that attaches to/uses a body mount bolt (i think, can't remember exactly).
Good luck.
Good luck.
