Opinions on best Fuel Pumps??? FASS, Walboro, etc.

I have read many threads about different fuel pumps. I am looking at purchasing a fuel pump to install because I don't trust the stock lift pumps and I am also looking into purchasing a TST box in the near future. I am wondering what everyones opinions are as who has the best fuel pumps, such as, FASS, Walboro, Carter, etc.? My other question is what is the benefit of the full FASS system with filtration compared to just the FASS pusher pumps? Everyone's input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.......Jon

Alot of the guys where I live are putting on the FASS pump without the filters on it, they say its not worth messing, but I looked at the fass pump last week at the local cummins dealer and it is a nice really well made heavy unit. It is something I will definately look into later on. The guy there said to with the FASS and not mess with the carters, ect. I couldn't believe how heavy duty the pump was built, nice unit. Hope this helps.

I don't really know what "best" is, but the stock pump is definately not it. I chose the Walbro because it's easy to install, has proven reliability, is available at various parts stores or on ebay, outperforms the stock setup and it's cheaper than a FASS. Later, if it does fail, it would be so easy to slip in a new one or any number of other "get home" pumps from a local parts store.

I like my Haisley Aux fuel system it is a totally parallel system compared to you stock and it only costs 425. That includes pump, filter, additional fuel pick up and strainer, and lines. www.haisleymachine.com

FASS pump only about 40 days ago. 4 year warranty
My other truck is still on the stock pump but it will be replaced with FASS the moment I feel a blip on the pedal.
Does this count as 2 votes for FASS!

Are you saying you can feel a power difference with the FASS pump installed without any other mods?

Walbro 392 has been doing a nice job of keeping up with my stage 2 cp3 so far.

It's hard to say which is best. But I can tell you which is the most expensive, AirDog I like mine and the filtering is top notch. The company who makes them now is called Pureflow. I just ordered some filters from them.
