only 29 psig of boost 03

my 03 with smarty set on 9 intake stacks will only hit 29psig is this ok how can i get the psi up

Do you have a boost elbow installed? If not get one.

Be careful though, the stock turbo isn't much good above 32 psi. And 35psi and above just shortens it's lifespan.

on our '03s anything over 30-32 is a waste... making hot air and decreasing Turbo life... 35 is looking to blow the Turbo
So if your hitting 29 psi you are fine...

my 03 is hitting up to 42 psi with a smarty 4.2, ive never had any issues as of yet...its been hitting those numbers for the better part of 4 years now... no boost elbow no turbo modifications whats so ever....

The perfect turbo for the daily driver is one off of a 04.5 up. You can get a effective 42 psi.

42?!~ gosh i can't get CLOSE to that....lol, nor 35 for that matter.

I see about 26, smarty on 3 - mayyybe 29 on 5.

you sure thats a stock Turbo??? the He341 will not take that kind of psi from everything I have read

I too have seen 40-42 on my stock turbo while running beta 4.2 on my smarty. I think my old elbow was turned all the way in. I installed a new one a while back and only see around 30 now running tnt.
