Only 20lb of boost

According to the Outlook monitor, I'm maxing out at 20lb of boost. Is this a BD thing that is set to stop or do I have another problem. Filter looks good, K&N with stock box, and I don't know where to start. Can someone get me going?

are you running a boost fooler? if so, the outlook has to be plugged in first to the sensor. can you install a temporary analog gauge to verify the actual reading?

I think the Outlook reads boost via the OBD-II port under the dash so there wouldn't be any way to get an accurate reading if using a boost fooler.

I am currently seeing a max somewhere around that myself. I am (obviously from sig...) taking a physical boost reading via boost bolt, but am not running the fooler right now. Is 20 the max these things allow stock?

Did you install a boost elbow. Sence you have an 03 like me a tuner will not up the bust on a manual wastegate you have to trick it into thinking it is getting less boost so it will stay closed. Look on ebay i think i got mine for 10-15bucks.

I went from 24psi max stock to 34psi with my adjustable actuator. Also look (if you can) at your set parameters on the outlook and make sure you don't have any set too early, max boost, egts, rail pressures, etc. You may have something causing it to defuel. If you don't have a actuator/adj elbow and/or boostfooler getting one should do the trick.

The wastegate on all the 03's in manual. You need a boost elbow ( make it yourself ) or just plug the line from the turbo to the wastegate. I can get 32 out of mine.

Not a plug, you can buy a boost bolt, and use it to replace one of the intake manifold bolts. Basically, a bolt with a hollow shaft, attach fittings to run boost line. Pretty easy install, if you have done one, you can walk all over the next ones...

Thanks guys, no I dont have a boost elbow. I'm waiting for a boost fooler right now. Will I still need to install an elbow and is that the piece before the turbo that has the baffles. I've seen people post about cutting them out.
Thanks in advance

Ummmmm, no. The boost elbow, replaces the eldow coming out of the turbo that has the little hose going to the wastegate. There is an allen head screw in it that makes it adjustable. You can make it yourself if you can drill and tap!
