The last oil pressure readings I saw on a couple of gassers read 35 lbs and then immediately drop to 0! The light will only come on below 7 psi. Thats the breaking point from 35 on the guage to the light coming on and showing 0 on the guage. So in my opinion the factory guage IS absolutley useless! That is unless you are not concerned as long as your oil pressure is above 7psi ?! I tend to want an accurate reading on crucial information such as oil pressure, but that's just me!
