understand

All these guys trying to help you can read fine, the problem is you don't listen or don't understand. At this point I think you should take it to someone who is capable of diagnosing what is wrong with your truck. Sounds like you have another issue besides the Edge box.

The bolt threads into the intake and the bolt is hollowed out and you screw the tubing to the top of the bolt and directly to the gauge in your truck. I think it's free when you buy the gauge from Genos garage.

Dave:

I have used a small pair of "Vise-Grips" or you can go to "Lowes" or "Home Depot" and get a metal "clip", looks alot like a clothespin, but bigger and with alot more tension, They make them in different sizes. I find them in the paint section. They use them to hold up plastic sheeting etc. for protecting other walls etc.

Yea I sure would not want to use vise grips, I loose tools easily. I know the "clip" you spoke of and even have a few large ones. I have a small c-clamp I was thinking of trying, but want to get a few opinions first. Thanks you, John.

finally got threw to a dealer. they said that ecm# on fan shroud was actually a ECM #. they said theres a few more reflashes to do for $100 roughly. I guess I might get them done as maybe itll help. By the way gauges are on their way. Tranny gauge, boost psi and egt. Just kinda sux though because once i get problem figured out ill have the attitude showing me egt and boost and ill have another set of boost egt gauges.

From all the posts, videos, questions, and suggestions, I now know what the problem is. This will cure everything up to this point. The truck has the wrong fuel cap. The fuel cap is not allowing proper ventilation to the tank due to the power of the cummins. Take your truck to your favorite dealer and remove the fuel cap, then have an employee move your truck away to then bring around a Powerstroke or Duramax. Install fuel cap, sign the papers of the trade and drive away knowing you have fixed the problem without anymore headache.

I couldn't help it, with all the problems you are having, just have to take a step back and have a good laugh.

Really? Gee, I have used them several times on my truck and some of my friends Dodge CTD's and they worked fine for short test runs. I don't ever leave them on there permanently though........................................
