One last video before I unhook edge juice

One last video of my edge juice attitude hot unlock totally installed . I am removing it and ordering a smarty. Reason im showing this is just incase what you see in the video is normal. I am unloaded by the way in the video. My turbo wastegate is operating normally as this is WITHOUT it being pinched off. If i pinch it i can hit 40 psi and egts take WAY LONGER to hit 1400F

wow. thats only taking 8 seconds wot to reach 1400+ unloaded and on a straight stretch I'm guessing?. Thats pretty crazy. Is that what you were asking if it was normal for the egts to go that high that fast??

lol thats my wife. we were on a busy highway with cars coming. i didnt have much time to test it without cops coming.

edge is going out and im ordering a smarty but what would u say is wrong? low boost #s or stacked somehow without me knowing? that video was done on stock. 1-6 get progressively worse. i have 4" factory exhaust with cat and muffler deleted. i have aero4040xl put in place where cat was and its installed right. i have ****** whistler intake. So im betting problem with turbo/wastegate or ecm whether its the stock one or edge one

Maybe it's because I'm only used to a stocker but that motor didn't sound too healthy to me either, kinda like it was luggin and had a dead cylinder or something, but I'm no mechanic...

X2 on that thing not sounding right... I don't think that it's the edge.

That, and edge's pyro's are known for being bad. Call them first. I don't have anything against the smarty at all, great piece of gear, but you'll miss the adjustability of the edge.

I would check the pyro, as Madhat said the are known for going bad.

depending on the setting you had your edge on that seems about normal to me for a module....My X2 was just as hot...

I'm tellin ya my truck responded the same way to Edge and I remember that warning oh so well. I was able to get to 1450 by 4th gear with it on level 6. It sucks beacause hot juice does have some good power.

whistle is there just hard to hear because the nature of my digital camera and i have turbo back 4" with just a aero4040 so its kinda loudish/droniesh( i like it though). But does whistle. Like i said if i crimp wastegate line itll whistle more obviously and ill hit 42 psi EASY but i have to let off then (dont wanna grenade turbo) and my egts are way better. they stick around the 1100-1200 F with wastegate pinched.

whats a good set of gauges? any that come with a fuel rail and fuel transfer pump psi also? a cluster of 4 (turbo,egt,rail psi, supply psi)

Based on the above it is not the Edge. Your waste gate control from the ECM is not operating as it should. The Smarty will not make it any better. On a full throttle run I hit 40-42 PSI easy then the ECM/EDGE starts defueling.

Your Attitude monitor sees what the ECM sees for boost and it is not to the point where it should opening.

Install a mechanical gauge to cross verify the boost numbers.
