Ok did a little more testing on my 03 with the pred
Using the real time data and some advice from guys here on what parameters to use.
Here is what I am finding. This is on performance setting.
Pred shows 38 psi on boost subtract atmosphere of 15 for 23 psi total boost
I did a 2k to 3k over drive pull in 4th gear. HPCRpress shows 120mpa at 2k and ramps up to 162mpa at 3k, does this sound about right?? That is about 17400psi at 2k and 23500 at 3k. I rolled into the throttle to keep it from down shifting then went WOT. It appears to be a even ramp as the rpm increase.
I installed the extreme map and it puts out a ton of smoke, but no more power.
Next step is to put on a FP gauge and see if I am killing my lift pump on performance. Also thinking about bumping the boost up to about 30 psi and see how that does.
I will keep updating as I do more tests, maybe this will help others who are having weak power issues.
