Oil Filter and Fuel Filter change

I have purchased a couple fleetguard oil and fuel filters from Genos garage. i have done my oil twice and time for a third at 12k miles. I have yet to do my fuel filter yet. i was told the fuel filter I got was a little better then the stock one.

anything special I need to get it off?

I wouldn't put that many miles on the fuel filter, even though the book says its okay. I'd change it with no more than 10k miles. I do mine at 7500 miles.

I unscrewed the lid a bit and turned the yellow valve to the right and no fuel came out. any ideas?

Are you sure you opened it all the way? Maybe something is blocking the outlet?

I'd pull the cap and filter and take a look inside.

you dont have to unscrew the lid at all. just rotate the yellow handle to the outboard side of the truck, fuel will come out quite easily.

i change my filter at 5k(7 micron) when i change the oil. but i an **** and abusive to the truck.
