Is there a difference between o ringing the heads and firerings? Also I am looking at getting a oring cutter but it cuts the groove in the block not the head, Is this the same thing as cutting them in the cylinder head like ats? I dont understand how you can keep the ring in place when you put the cylinder head back ontop the block, also does ats just groove the cylinder head so that its easier to ship then the block? Thanks

 

Do a search on here for the difference between the two and how they are done and the different ways to do them and which one should be done for which application. There was a thread a while back that had a lot of info on them.
