nv5600 cryo?
So I'm actually swapping a nv5600 into my first gen but I thought you guys might be more help on my trans ?'s... my trans is out of an 03 model and made a loud cluncking noise when in the truck and without the shifter in it I can see a couple of gears that are messed up... I'm wanting to make this thing bulletproof and want to only put the best parts available in it... I was wondering who has the best re-build kits, synchros, and who sells the best replacement gears... Also wondering about the cryogenic process and if its worth doing, who does it and price? Thanks for any info!

Allstate Gear in Tx is where I get all my parts. Excellent prices. Theres no real upgrades/aftermarket parts for them. Cryo has been done by a few guys at high hp levels and does help. I snapped a mainshaft with just under 600hp. I didnt cryo due to time restraints but next time it breaks its getting done. Local place here will do all internals for $325. I cant help you on a builder. We have a local guy that does great work if you choose to ship it out for repair.
