Not tryin to start a war, But?

OK, Like I said. But I would like to know what everyone has against Banks? Is it the price? Or the install? What is it?

I don't have a module yet, but I've done alot of research. All modules have there qurks some more than others. But Banks seems to take a beating! BIG TIME. Just was wondering what is up did everyone have a bad experience with them?

I'm new to the module game and if you read enough everyone of these things have some skeleton in there closet!!! Some they really don't want us to know.

Look at EDGE how many people are waiting for the Juice for CTD and now I here the 2004.5/2005 is going to be available before the 2003/2004 whats up with that. Seems they can't get it right but they don't seem to be taking much CRAP!!!

Like I said not a war just curious!!!

i think its the price, and befor the six gun it seems they didn't really compete in the big performance market.
example on the price. I got an ats bb turbo 4 inch magnuflow, diablo 100 hp programmer, and a 4 inch intake(on my old powerstroke 99) for under $2500 most of which was the turbo, everything else was under $900 about the cost of just the stainless exhuast from banks.

I agree on the price, pretty spendy. And Banks stays on the safe side of performance for reliabilty. You can build more power cheaper by piecing together a system from other sources than buying a complete system from Banks.

Historically, it's been a value-for-money objection ($/BHP). You spend a lot and get less than you could from other sources.

Some people (myself included) also have heartburn over some of Banks' past advertising wherein they claimed you could install their systems without affecting your warranty. When problems developed and DC refused warranty coverage, Banks' response was to send their customer a copy of the Moss-Magnuson act and say "Good luck!"

Price. Cheaper to coble a system together a piece at a time.

I like the Banks because they stand with you and not BEHIND you when there is a problem. Yes it may cost alittle more but and yes they keep things a bit safer so you don't grenade somthing but I am triing to keep the truck running and get more power without killing it
It is harder to install but once in it's sweet, and real easy to adjust on the fly and you can tell the difference even without towing.
