As long as you don't have all the emissions you can get an exhaust any where.. It should allready be 4" so I would recommend a good flow through muffler.. Donaldson/Nelson/Rokktech unless you looking for huge hp numbers 4" will suffice..

Thanks. As far as the emissions stuff, I really don't know. I haven't really looked under the truck that much. I did put it on a mustang dyno just to see what it would make and it put down 278hp and 536tq I believe. I honestly don't plan on doing too much to the truck, just want it to be a little louder. I mean I am coming from a 2003 cobra to this lol.

Is there a reason you don't like the muffler delete? There were lots of guys at our dyno day yesterday running every different kind of exhaust. I lost count of the guys who came up to me asking which system I was running because it sounded so good. All I have is the muffler delete.....

Oh, no I have no problem with the muffler delete, I was just wanting to know if there was anything different out there for the 07+ trucks. I was actually thinking about getting rid of the muffler when I go back home next weekend.

Thanks guys.

I've got the muffler delete and the 4"-6" tip. It looks cool plus the huge tip makes it sound better too. I took the tip off one day and started the truck up. I was amazed at how different the truck sounded. Lots of guys are unhappy with the way some of these exhausts sound on their trucks. I can't recall anybody being unhappy with a muffler delete unless they were just trying to make their truck super loud. I left the CAT in place too.
It sounds like straight pipe but at about 2/3rds the sound level.....

Yeah I just added the 4 to 6" tip to mine and it made a big difference. Mines a mega cab so i have a cat, muff delete, resonator then 6" tip. It improved the idle sound 100%, as far as driving down the road it is louder, but need to have wife drive the truck by me so i can hear what it sounds like going by..

Good luck. FYI, depending on the exhaust you had on the cobra, if you want loud on this truck, it's very easy to do. Cat delete, muff delete, 6"tip or bigger...it will wake the dead, oh and do the silencer ring delete to get more tubro whislte...

yeah the cobra was pretty loud. offroad x-pipe with the borla stinger catback, quite raspy.

Thanks for the advice guys, I guess it is time to start doing some small stuff to the truck.

5" mbrp turbo back sounds totally cool also and not too loud, just a deep nice sound.
