nitrous guys need info

I am planning on putting a nitrous kit on my truck but the thing I was worried about is the BDDL with scary larry? I was told that program advances timing alot. With nitrous will that be safe since I was told you have to retard timing for nitrous and water methanol? What do you guys think. I am planning on running a .055 pill

Do you have oringed head or at least new studs? You're asking for trouble if you don't clamp down your head first.

Nitrous will work best if you are over fueled. With a stage 2 CP3 and Flux 3.5's, whats your rail pressure at WOT?

Where are you planning to inject?

Timing retard makes sense for methanol & propane, but why for nitrous, with it's chemical cooling and spike-buffering effects?

I would increase the pill size until the smoke cleared - while monitoring the boost, TIP and EGTs for signs of trouble.

Of course, when in doubt, take timing out, since too much seems to be a good way for the piston crowns to melt before the EGT gets way out of hand!
