I use it in my bike as well. I want a consistant running tire and they get pretty hot when I run it hard in the summer. A 10psi change is very noticeable in handling when you only have 2 wheels, no power steering, and suspension set up for racing.

Me either, I buy my tires at Costco because they are price competitive and the warranty is good in Canada and the US. I tow at 80 psi and reduce it to 60psi when bobtailing. by the time I wear a set out I don't think there is very much pure nitrogen left.

Use to run it. It's just a pain in the butt when you rotate tires. The last place I bought my tires from offered a free lifetime warranty and encouraged me to bring it in every 5000 miles and they warrantied my factory tires due to cracking. No Nitrogen at this place, haven't noticed any difference since I switched back. Too much of a pain to find it.

When I put BFG TA KO's on my '03 3500 in November 2007, CostCo put nitrogen in the tires. When I traded it in for my '08, those tires were put on my '06 and we just swing by CostCo once every 3 or 4 months to check the tire pressure. We've only had to add nitrogen twice to those tires since November 2007.

No wheelies, its a Gen 2 FJR which means it has the longer wheel base than a Gen 1. Ride hard with a group doing twisties and high speed stuff down here in good ole HOT Texas on our chip sealed back roads. Go thru tires pretty quick that way. I have found the Michelin Pilot Road 2 wears the best for a Z rated tire but does not have near the stability in a high speed turn as the Pirelli Diablo Strada. The Strada however was the lowest mileage so far at just over 2500 and it was down to cords in the center an inch and a half wide and all the way around the tire. So, its PR2's for me and I dial it back a notch or so. BTW, the FJR is a great bike with impressive numbers for an ST bike but its not an R1 by any means.

The dealer installed nitrogen in the Jetta tires is useless, the pressure fluctuates with temperature and it loses air like any other car. I had them repurge the tires on the first oil change, but there was no difference. I was told by a tire rep at the SEMA show that most of the nitrogen systems used by dealers can't get the nitrogen content over 93-94%, and the true benefit isn't achieved until 97%. Another problem is that the technicians in the dealerships are topping off the nitrogen filled tires with regular shop air most of the time. I work in dealerships and see it all the time.
