I lifted these from TDR. Notice the fenders, also.

I think it may look even better if they just took the same amount off the whole bed tho..

My brother did the same thing on his 03 dually a couple years ago. It was the first one the company had done but they've done more since I think. They also utilized the original dually fenders so they had to cut those down too. Quite an amazing job.

I think it looks trick but call me dumb but whats the point? For a gooseneck setup?

it's so 5th wheels will clear the bed rails....
