Please report back with your results... Are you going with straight water or are you mixing some meth...?

If you had a turbo, I'd say do the first one without the water, then do the next run with same tune and the water to see the difference.

Also most dyno operators will only charge a small fee for another run or two since you're already strapped down.

I'm hoping to dyno again in a few weeks....

It's a DTR dyno day and with 30+ trucks showing up, time will be limited. I did run her pretty hard tonight on the street, first was a rolling start and it almost killed the motor, so I turned the controller up and started out from a light, no spool and it ran hard, probably the hardest I have ever felt it run, but I was to busy watching for cars to notice the egts, but I do know the pump was on full blast.

The truck put down 378 hp and 812 tq with the injection on, and 388 hp and 822 tq with it off, and egts were maxed at 1200 regardless, so I didn't learn anything there, but I do know on the street it does make a difference, so it will help with towing.

You might be right on the edge of injecting too much. There's a chance you could get most of that 10hp back and still see the same cooling effect by backing it off a little. Sounds like the EGT's were the same either way though? That would make sense for a short burst on a dyno.

On my '93 the EGT's would spike for a few seconds at WOT and then the water/meth would slowly bring it down a solid 100*+. It definitely made a big difference while towing up steep grades and stuff.

If I turn the controller down some, I can actually choke the motor, so I know I need to change out nozzles, I need to order some on Monday. But then again I think the software in the smarty really changed things around and I left a lot on the table. I will keep fine tuning it, and on the next dyno day, I hope to actually get some use out of it.

what mix were ya running? strait h20, summer washer fluid, winter fluid? home mix?
ive got a stage 2 snow kit, running 1 big nozle 1 small, and i know h2o only will drown it , summer mix is a little better, but wallmart winter mix works best so far. i think that droping to 2 small nozels would work better, might get around to ordering some smaller ones soon.
