Re:New TST Box
Hmmm...they seem to have an emphisis on keeping the exhaust, filter etc. stock. Why's that? That's a very tempting purchase, but I'm afraid my 47RE would explode. :'(

Seems to me they are implying that EGT's in stock mode are acceptable and useable. Wish they would go more into the EGT issue with the stock turbo. It would be amazing if 150hp could be useable with a stock setup and not having to back off of it VERY quickly to keep things from melting. If not - wonder how well a 4 ich exhaust and aftermarket filter help limit EGT's.

Re:New TST Box
Interesting, Very Interesting :, I guess they win the prize for announcing first & taking orders, I now have to contact my Trans company and see what he is going to say and schedule my 48re for him to play with first. I am going to pay very close attention to this first batch and see if the burp has been eliminated .. I guess it is only money ;D. My hard earned money....

If there is people worried about warrenty on there trucks. This box would probably be the box you shouldnt get do to the fact you would have to unhook your turbo boost and pyro . I guess you could get the one with out the gauges. But the one with the gauges is a pretty good price. Or is there a way to unhook the box and hide the wires under the dash. ???

Hey gdh11 How do you like your jeg's exhaust? This is on order now. i am hoping the TST box is all that is promised, will be purchasing this early 04 after the tranny visits sun coast in Florida for upgrading. Do not want to trash something that can be upgraded. Keep us informed on your purchase... Good luck, sounds like you have a mother of a truck in the making. ;D

Re:New TST Box
I would assume that TST is only stating that the "stock" equipment is good enough to product the 150 HP / 500 lb/ft numbers, but not necessarily to maintain them for any length of time without exceeding recommended EGTs.

I do like the Jegs exhaust but others may think it is too loud. I think it flows much better and sounds better than the stock for sure and you cannot beat the price. I will keep you posted for sure with the new box and what I discover with the LP system and box combined. Take it easy.

Mine's on order too. I will do some testing on the street and dyno, stacked and not stacked. I wonder how it will run at the strip. BTW, I've got DD3 injectors, DD turbo, EZ, and a good clutch will be on the way soon.

I can't wait to hear back about how they are when you guys finally get them!!
I have a feeling to run on the 150hp and 500tq setting that air filter and exhaust at a minimum, gauges, but probably a turbo upgrade will be required and automatic trans upgrades....the 150hp/500 torque isn't as cheap as it looks =]
