i got a buddy with a dmax and he has with through 3 ATS trannys, 2 level 5's and 1 level 7, and the 7 was slipping with just his motor work, aurora 5000 and 200hp injectors, he didnt even have his triple stack and water/meth on it
he's just going to drive out to denver next week to get it fixed, long drive, but i would be ****** too if i've spend 16K in trannys

Billet and whatever?
I don't care what tranny company you use, DTT, ATS, HTS, or whoever, and you billet everything, no-one that I know makes a stock replacement clutches that can hold up? The only up-grade the 47re clutches are the 48re OEM. I need kevlar or some other material that hold hold up to the heat. So what I'm saying is, right now there is no bullet proof tranny for 3rd. gens as the weak link now is the clutch packs...

Whose tranny do you have. I have seen a few "built trannys" and one of the big companies had stock clutchs in it...

Mine dosent have stock clutches either,, they use a special aftermarket brand,, and then use lots of pressure to make sure that they dont slip
