My Friend here is having his powdercoated Black. I have a place here that says they'll warranty the coating for up up to 600 deg

my gloss black powder coat has held up GREAT for over a year now
I IR lasered temped the stack and the hottest reading I could get was a little over 200* at the 5" part(bottom) and 160* at the 7" top.
I wish Black chrome was really that...instead of smoked chrome..thats why I like gloss black so much it's super dark black but shiny like chrome

thanks guys. They sound KILLER! No louder than the 6" on the freeway but in town, look out!
oh, and they do blow a could of black smoke! lol..

Those things look freakin sweet. Let me know when you get the black chrome perfected. I wanted dual 7's but now possibly 8's.

No crap, when I got my dual 6s they were huge beyond recognition. They still look right on my truck.
