New SRT10 hood
here is the picture of the hood I put on a few weeks back. You can see the new MBRP sticking out the back too.

From what i remember it only come ready to paint..
There was no color options when i got mine..
Then again they just called me when it was ready to put on, i told them to order it and paint it and call me.. So i never really saw it.. it would of been easier if it came color matched like the grill did..

this is the one I got but the airbox wont match up to the diesel so tell them to drop it off. They will color match to your factory specs via vin # and ship it to you. I had the local shop put it on for like $50 because I had to. It would be easy to install.

I know there has got to be an SRT-10 style hood with functioning scoops for our trucks, or can you just take one for a gas and make it work on ours with an open top airbox.

You can do it but you have to use two differnet systems. Volant makes an intake for the hemi and other gas engine. it has a semi flexible tube coming out of the scoop intake. Take this part of the intake and run it into your cold air intake box, you will have to cut out a little hole in the side of it to run the scoops tube into it. IF you dont have a cold air intake system already, you will have to buy it. So that means you buy the volant system and whatever other cold air box you want. Kind of a pain in the butt.
