I too would like to see a breakdown (list/table) of the new updated downloads for the S-06 Model Smarty.
If I remember correctly the SW3 program I've been using has changed and is now "Smarty S-06A Ver. 4.11A, Data: 3.11A." And if I remember correctly from the discussions I've read, the new "3" is a higher horsepower with moderate torque management, which wouldn't be good for my stock tranny.
Any help/clarification would be greatly appreciated.
TIA!!

What I expect is not to lose power upgrading to latest software and along with the gear indicator lights. What I expect is to be able to blow the doors off any "stock" 4 banger gas sub-compact climbing up the same grades as before. I don't think that is asking too much? I don't bump up to tq because my tranny is stock. Yes 4.10 was much more powerful on my 03 HO which is proving to be a problem for smarty upgrades. Perhaps Mads could have a breakdown of smarty downloads for 03-04 305/555 ? If 03-04 have a different ecm/pcm, injectors, wastegate why not a different download? Bob or Marco why????? Don't get this post wrong...I think Smarty is the best thing going for the cummins and fully appreciate the great customer support and continual updates.

N.Johnson,
the gear indicator lights problem is fixed. I'm sorry for the inconvenience!
The new updates to correct that problem are being uploaded to our website while I'm typing. It'll take a couple more hours (I think) a lot of megbytes to upload.
What makes me wonder is that you got more power with the 4.10 than with the 4.11 software! The ONLY change done to the 4.11 is slightly less timing. Less enough to "rattle" a little less but not enough less to hurt the performance or mileage. I'm scratching my head here....
Are you sure you had the 4.10 software? Not some "beta" ( high Hp ) tune???
I mean, if you had let's say the beta4.4 loaded in your truck then OF COURSE you lost hp and I agree that you need the beta back ( no problem...)! But with the 4.10... It's a ??? for me.

Marco as always you are the man for product support. Since I don't dyno and just finished driving 1247 km on my same route thru the mountains, 411AD211 is a noticeable decrease. Yes I still have 410 on my disc. For some upsides, my tranny really likes this latest sw, smooth shifts with no gear hunting and fuel economy is improved. I like the more linear range of the accelerator and decreased rattle. The only numbers I can give are a 7 psi loss of boost and 1150 max egt climbing a 10 km 6% grade. Looking forward to the indicator glitch fix.

Guys,
Sorry for the delay with these new updates!
Yesterday we were fighting with server problems, slow uplink, various timeouts and and and.... At the end we've given up late in the night. You know, when it rains it pours!
We're uploading the softwares ( again ) now and it looks like everything is a OK.
HOPEFULLY, we'll have everything published by today. Sorry for the wait!
N.Johnson,
I understand what you're saying but still something does not add up for me.
The "4.10" had a tad more timing than the final version 11. In poor words, the 4.10 had a little lower EGT's and a tad less boost than version 11.
Are you SURE you had version 4.10 loaded in your truck? Not a "beta"???
Eventually, would you please send me the 4.10 you have. I'll check it out...
Thanks!
Marco

thanks for all the answers Bob and Marco have a couple of quick questions. Does the 4.11 have boost fooling or does aftermarket turbo program need to be loaded for that. Also does this new race tune offer adjustability as in 30hp 60hp 90hp 230 etc or will be the same as the beta 4.4 i'm running which is basically 170hp on all levels
thanks in advance

Hey You Guys Doubting The .11 Software
Guys w/ any doubt, we just dynoed an 04 305/555 truck, and the .11 software on SW7(130HP TUNE) GAINED 153HP OVER STOCK!!!! There is just as much power as ever w/ the latest tunes. TQ was a gain of 271FT LBS. Good job Marco!!!
