Loaded this Smt4V411AD211A36 and have lost power. Timing rattle is decreased and barely any smoke although hard to tell at -17. However the dyno butt does register a loss of seat back pressure. Smt4V410 had a lot more kick to it. Can always go back right?

Hey 03-04 AUTO guys, am I the only one that still does not have a shift indicator light around R D 2 and 1(w/ new 2.11)?
MikeyB, Maybe the autos are different, but I haven't seen any cruise issues since the beta 4.2 days.
Hmmmm. Wonder if the 2.11b will fix the CC surging that I'm having with 2.10b.

I was about to upgrade from the latest beta -- just to fix that shift indicator, but only if the fix is a sure thing looks like it isn't. If I decide to take a chance later, I'll let you all know. Until then....

When installing the mild torque management, what else do you notice? Difference in smoke? I am interested on timing rattle, but I don't think it bothers me too much?
Anyone installed the new 211 regular then the same tune w/mild TM increase?
Thanx.

Nope, not on mine anyway. They are working on it though, I'm sure it's something simple. As busy as Marco and Bob are w/ 2 tuners out, I'm willing to wait it out, not a big deal.

I still also don't have the shift indicator light with the new (2.11) updates.

Nope. Mine is not a HO and has a build date of 1/2003, but it also lost the shift indicators. -- wasn't until just recently that I realized that the indicator went away when I installed the beta...

For those of you with the beta and switching to new standard tunes - well you can expect to lose power I would think. the sw9 is still only rated at 170hp. You can't really compare until you are comparing to the race tune.

I know everyone thinks their buttometer is accurate down to +/- 5hp, but be careful of that assumption. I know of a truck that went from the beta 4.4 to the race tune and thought the truck "felt" slower. They dynoed it and the graph showed that hot only did the new program make more power, it made it for longer as well. It just isn't as harsh. It's much smoother power and so it's very deceptive.

"For those of you with the beta (4.2, 4.3, 4.4) and switching to new standard tunes - well you can expect to lose power I would think. " Those switching from the standard software / 4.10 beta to 4.11 (currently published on website) will not notice a significant difference....agreed?

Hello. I loaded the 4.11...2.11 today. Running on level 9. Loving the power. What would I notice if I tried the 3.11 version with the moderate TM increase? Do increases in TM add smoke?
Thanx.
