Bob, is the new 4.11A much different from the 4.10C I just loaded? Just wondering if I should upgrade again. -- Bill

OH! Well that explains why my 03's indicator isn't working right, the BETA

Kinda waiting to hear how people like the released version before I change. (I'll just put up with only knowing P and N )

Are the new softwares (4.11) lower horsepower than the betas, if so when will the high hp sw's be available like the beta 4.2 I had on the truck?

yes, the 4.11 is the refined standard beta, not the race / old beta 4.4 derivitive....You have an 06, you can go back to beta 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 right now....06's didnt have any chrysler updates so they can still go backward....

I've loaded the 4.10 and gone back to beta 4.4...going to try 4.11 tonight....and verified i (06/07) can still go backward to beta 4.4 (or 4.2/4.3)

Clear as mud?

So is it the same old +130hp for 03-04's???

I'm still running my orignal Smarty program with the orignal program when it was released last year.

I'm going to a dyno day on Saturday and would like to improve on last years numbers.

Will these new softwares be worth it. I'd hate to loose the program I have now since its the OG program and works great for me but I dont know any better or what its like on the beta side.

Yes with a less touchy throttle and no smoke. The 2.11 beta is on par with the original smarty levels, and was made for daily driver use. Alot complain about all the smoke and hauling, well this is gonna make us all happy in the long run. As I've said before, level 7 on the 2.11 beta actually feels safe for my clutch, and the power is amazing, much more than sw 5 of the original smarty. It will smoke if you lug it but almost immediately disappears. EGTs are looking really good, with my wot runs barely reaching 1200*. Almost seems the egts are in more of a hurry to drop. Fuel mileage seems on par still, a bit better. Overall, yes I miss the smoke, but I love this program.

Good info Rip 112. Have you tried setting 9 yet?

Thanx.

No haven't tried 9, sw7 just feels so right. After I burn a full tank on sw7, I will change it to 9 and see how it differs. Not expecting much more on stock fuel, but I may be surprised. I'm afraid I'll never want to go back to sw5, which used to be my all day-everyday level, now that 7 seems to do the trick.
