Stupid question here. I just got my Smarty last weekend. I thought I had the 2.11, but I have the 2.10. When I plug in my Smarty to a computer (I have to find one, my work is filtered to downloads and my home is a Crapple), will all the steps pop up in my face?
Thanx.
Thanx.

No. And it can be confusing the first couple of times. But the steps are outlined. Once you download the file, you then have to create a smarty folder to put it in. You need to download the 7zip stuff to decompress plus the usb driver. Once all that is done, decompress the file then plug in smarty, click the shortcut, choose the file and go. Go slowly the first couple of times to get the hang of it. I stumbled the first time too.

It's a release of the recent beta's (the daily driver versions) so it conforms to the HP of the normal smarty...e.g. Max 170hp on level 9.....it's not the TNT version that will repalce the older Beta 4.2, 4.3, 4.4 perfromance versions....

Not in the way you think. Marco expalined on a different thread that because of the high HP beta 4.2-4.4 everytime we see "beta" we think high HP files. These newly released files are the final product of the recent normal HP betas that are smoother and less smoke and other goodies like that... not the long awaited "race" file.

Ok I think I understand now what these are. these are the files with less egt's, and less smoke right? If i update my smarty to this file, can I go back to an older version that I have saved on my computer, say if i wanted to get back to the lots of smoke. truck in sig.
