Hey, guys! As some of you may know, I recently changed from the Edge hot juice w/attitude to Smarty Revo and an edge insight monitor. Edge lvl 6 "hot" is rated at 160 hp and 350 tq. sw9 is 170hp ?tq. sw9, tq2,tm2, rp2 should be even more that, right? The thing is that lvl 6 on the edge felt more like 10 hp more than this instead of less, so..... is there one of the betas or tnt or something that would be better? Also, do the betas work with revo software, or are they just pre-set lvls with no adjustment?
Try level 5 and 7 but play with increasing Tq, and RP
I run mine on lvl 7, tq-4 tm-4 rp-4 Mine will smoke if I get on it hard but have learned to drive around this as I love the throttle response of Rp-3 and 4.
I did not have access to any of the TNT versions when I had my stock turbo.
I played with Tq and timing to get throttle response the way I like it..
Timing can make a BIG difference in power on differing vehicles so try each of them. Smarty is definitely not a set it like everyone and go. You must spend the time to see what your truck likes.. Usually once you find what your truck likes.. You will like it also.
Best of Luck..

Finally got off my lazy butt and tried a few things. I turned the wastegate option off (for aftermarket turbo) and all the turbo surge is gone. Turn the wastegate option on (for stock turbo) and the terrible surge comes back. Anyone know what's going on here??? Bob, can you assist me on troubleshooting this one?
