Thanks for all the input,

That's alot of fuel! Alot of guys only set the TST to 2/0 when stacking with the Smarty.

HOLLY SMOKES!!!
2/0 man I guess I may need to go to twins or a bigger single. I did a test today and was able to get 1275 with just the Smarty and of course the injectors.(106 mph) Then I punched up the TST to 3/3. It got to 100 mph alot faster but I hit 1500 deg and it was climbing fast when I went past 100mph.
See ya,

Hey guys,
Well I've decided to see if II will take my Silver 62 back and send me something that will cool my truck. The 62 is great but it just doesn't cool the thing enough. Before I do that I wanted to ask you guys if I'm missing something. Would a new IC help? How do you size a turbo anyway. I mean this 62 isn't even coming close to keeping my truck cool. So is a 64 going to keep it cool or do I need a 66? Any help is appreciated. I was hopping that Industrial Injection would have been able to size the thing but that didn't go so well.
Thanks,
Topper

I don't think any single will keep you cool with that amount of fuel. Smarty and sticks alone and obviously yes... but throw the TST into the mix? For a single you'll need something like a 5000 but it's not gonna be as street friendly, imo.

A good set of compound turbos from MPI should be in your future. If that's the kind of fuel you're gonna throw at it all the time, there is no other choice. Call Nathan and see what he says. Maybe he can make a set up using the Silver 62 you have right now...

Hey guys,
Thanks for the input! I was hopping not to have to go to twins but if I have to I will. I don't run the TST all the time just when I want to have a little fun... How much would a 64 or 66 help cool the mix?
Thanks again for the help.
It is appreciated!

I'm pretty sure that the 62, 64, and 66 all have the same sized exhaust with a 74mm turbine so it won't help much on the cooling BUT the extra air on the intake side will help some.... Enough for you? I don't know.

Hey guys,
Well were going to take 1 more shot at it. I talked to Shane at II and he said that there is no way that I should have gotten the Silver 62. So he said that if I send him the turbo he would up grade the turbo to a Silver 66... So I'll send him this one and hope that the 66 will help cool my mix. Now I know that the thing will be a little more laggy then the 62 but hope it will cool the mix better. I guess this is the last step before twins.
So how many of you guys are running the 66's and how bad are they on the street?
Thanks guys,
Topper
