New Programmer
So i just sold the Superchip and it is time for something different.....
I have an 05 6 speed with strait pipe and intake. Not wanting to upgrade the fuel system and dont have the money to replace a clutch if i smoke the stock one. Just wanting advice on which programmer pairs best with a near stock truck without overpowering it.
Considering bullydog / edge juice / and smarty jr? who is running what with the 6 speed. and whats working the best.

Any of them are capable of tearing up stock parts. Choose one that fits and use it in moderation. People forget that more times than not, stock parts aren't tearing themselves up, we are the problem.

I have the Bully Dog on my 06, running Crazy Larry gave me 443hp on a Mustang dyno. The BD gives you the ability to adust for bigger tires, fogs on with highs, daytime running lights etc etc, many of the things you'd normally need to have done at the dealer. They can be found pretty cheap in the classifieds.
1 thing leads to another though, adding more power means you'll need to upgrade other areas such as lift pump, clutch etc.
No matter which you go with gauges should be the first thing you do, then maybe changing the muffler (you don't need to redo the whole system) and a free flowing intake.
