Sounds like you could just buy a new engine and take the stix out of it and have parts left over... lots of them

If you are talking about the 6.7, the price must have dropped some. The last time I checked they were 1800 each.

We are in the process of working up a rebuild procedure for the 6.7 injectors now. The test bench parameters are already programmed and we have them running now. They are a much improved injector. Stainless steel bodies that are much tougher to handle the pressure.

I bet money Bosch was - at first - losing money on them. The price out was 2200, then 1800 and now oneton is saying 1350. It will get better over time.

The ISX injectors are produced in Mexico for Cummins, and are not a Bosch part. The 6.7's are made right here in the USA. Labor, healthcare, etc, etc costs are mucho higher here. No pun intended.

that's not right. I'm canadian (northern BC) and I just priced out some 5.9 injectors, and from chrysler they are 780.00 (that includes the core charge) and from cummins directly they are 580 including core. I'd say try another dealership.

My wife is the HR Director for the company that makes the injectors for the 6.7 Cummins. I was offered a set of six from the sales guy that she works with. Unfortunitly they were marked for show only
