New injector questions

Seeing as I may be needing new injectors in the future, I'm trying to figure out which direction to go. I don't plan on making more than 600 hp. I have a car for that kind of thing. I use the truck for farm use, to and from my day job, and I haul 5-10 times a month. No gauges yet, those come later this year. EFI Live and a Goerend trans down the road, I'm in no hurry to make the horse power right away. Will stock Bosch injectors support that kind of hp? If not, what should I be looking at?

Well EFI is not out for our trucks yet so I'm really not sure what they will be able to pull off with stock fueling

Most important thing is to go with new, not remanufactured, injectors and be sure to get them from a reputable company like TC Diesel or Exegy.

That being said, if you can afford it, the new BBI injectors, designed by Marco (of Smarty fame) in conjunction with a former Bosch engineer who was one of the top R&D engineers in the field of CR high pressure injection systems, are proving some impressive numbers, as well as being quiet and relatively smopkeless with the correct Smarty tuning. Source Automotive in Oregon, a long time and reputable supplier to the power/modded diesel aftermarket, is the sole supplier. If you go to their website, you can see a number of charts of the dynos that they are doing, as well as some pics of the injector holes. Just be sure to be sitting down when you view the price.

The cheapest way to go is Bosch Motorsports aka Marine injectors, they are available in 50hp or 100hp right out of the box. A full new set can be had in the $2K range. These are a 143 angle. So you guys like me with 06, 124 angle just need to be aware that the Motorsports injectors are different spray angles. And that's an entirely different subject and discussion.
