well I like to get on here and listen because I drive an automatic truck everyday with an aurora 5000 on it. yes it has lag and the days of pulling a big heavy trailer are over, but you can still drive it. I priced twins and they were 5200 made by a nice company. so I spent of third of that and the truck still makes power. ive got pretty good size injectors and ran a smarty on the street and if you dont drive it hard it wont smoke much really. it has a small puff when the converter locks in thats about it. if you want it to smoke, it will for sure do that

It depends what you are wanting. I am running a 66/71/13 over a SuperDave in a twins setup but I think that the 66/13 would be a good choice from HTT. IF you want more topend with a touch more lag go with the silver 66. I too think that II 71 will be a touch hard to spool. I ran a 71 all last pulling season and I snuffed the charger a few times.

thats why I went with something bigger. a member on here that does know what he is doing broke the II66 within 6 mos. he has over 40 hooks on the aurora so that is why I choose one for mine. I agree the price is way to much. you do get some extras in with the turbo buts it still too high I think

I would say to get an aurora 5000 or K31. but you will have to have a pretty good amount of fuel to get it to light up. if you dont plan on injectors and a modded pump I wouldnt advise getting one. they are 71mm also and the one I have I am pretty pleased with. on a single cp3, injectors, smarty and turbo made almost 700. which is not uncommon anymore but ive seen twin pumped and twin turbo trucks make less than that

Thanks that is my goal about 700 hp.Smarty race tune,90hp injectors, modded single cp3,and turbo?I really don't want to spend 5000 on turbos. As soon as tax man shows up ordering 3850 dd southbend.
