New Fender Flares

Well, I finally got them painted and put them on. Check them out in my Gallery. Bushwacker pocket style.I just replaced my 35's with these 33's and the flares seemed to get bigger when that happened. Now I'm not sure if I like them as much but we'll see....
I had the painter paint the insets (where the fake bolts are) a darker gray to help set them off and make it look more rugged. Let me know how ya'll like em! If I still feel they are too much for the 33's I might be intrested in sellin' em

Honestly,
Im not a fan of those fender flares, there are too many scew holes in them and take away from the cleaness factor of your truck! Personally, I dont care for painted ones either, I prefer the black ones!

Looks good. I like them. They where one of my considerations when I got mine. I like the way you have your truck setup. SHARP. Are those Master Craft tires? They look abought perfect for what I like. Its abought time for new tires on mine and I just had the current Nitto Tera Graplers quoted at $189 each to replace. I was hopeing to find a cheaper alternative that has the look I am after. Yours apear to do the trick for me. Asuming they are a little less money.

Those flares will destroy the paint under that rubber strip.. I speak from experience... It was one of the costliest mistakes I've ever made..

They are the Mastercraft Courser and they were $720 with shipping. I really wanted Nittos but they were on backorder and I was getting desperate.

Not much diference in money. I wouldent wory abought not getting Nittos because to me they are waering real fast. I have not been overly happy with them so far. I did buy them used with 10k on them and the previous owner was known for being hard on them but they now have a total of around 15-17k on them and they are all but bald. i wont be able to move if I dont replace them buy the first snow fly. Besides that I like the look of your tires better than the Nittos. They are a little more agressive. What size are they?

They're 33x12.50x17. I was also looking at the Dick Cepeks but they were also on back order. Along with about twenty other brand in 33's .....

I think they look better than stock. I hope so since I just ordered a set out of the classifieds. I plan to stay with black since my truck is white.

So, how do you stop them from rubbing the paint?

I put the same ones on my wifes 05 this weekend and she loves them! I think they look great as well. I sure wish they made them for my 98.5. I put some pics in the gallery. There awaiting approval.

Looks great!

Hawkeye, I think your truck looks good. I like the color painted, as I did the same with my Bushwacker OEM flares.

Camo flares,...

Who is carrying the Camo Flares? I saw a black D-Max with what looked like Advantage Camo Flares and it was really sharp with a matching air deflector. If you know the price, pls post that also.
