Needle on boost gauge flickering

hey guys does anyone know what can cause the needle on an autometer boost gauge to flicker.
I'm trying to measure exhaust pressure, I have 4' of copper line and the remaining line to the gauge is plastic.

My boost gauge measuring boost works perfect.

Any help would be appreciated.

some of them do flicker, sometimes it is the gauge or the line is pinched

Mine does flicker

Are you trying to read exhaust pressure in the exhaust manifold, before the turbo inlet? If so, I would expect some pulsing. Never measured it, so I don't know exactly what it would look like.
