Need wheel ideas for '04 3500 4x4 SWR

Hello all,
I'm in the market to buy new wheels and tires for my 2004 3500 4x4 (non dually) and I'm looking for some advice and pics. I've pretty much decided on the Nitto 325/60/18s, but I need some advice/input on the wheels. So do me a favor if you could, please post your ideas and pictures if you have them.

Thanks
Ryan

Great!! Can't wait to see the pics. What lift (and size) did you go with?

These are the Diamo 8 Karat 18x9 w/ 325-60-18 nittos... Picture doesn't look near as good as in person. The tire size you want is about perfect IMO. These wheels will generally cost a bit more than the Eagles I believe, but it's up to you on how much you want to spend, as a lot of wheels are similar in look. I decided to keep my factory wheels for the winter months, they are worth more to keep than to sell IMO.

Those tires/wheels look great! Did you have to install a leveling kit to fit the tires?

No, I didn't get a leveling kit. I don't know much about offsets and such, but these wheels do stick out a good ways past the stock ones. Keep in mind that they are an inch wider wheel also.
I will hear a very slight rub at full turn in reverse, but it is nothing that will harm anything. Slight trimming would fix that easily. Lets just say I "over paid" for my wheels . You should be able to get this combo installed for around $2300 give or take a couple of hundred which is quite a bit more than others are paying for similar setups. It's just what you prefer and how much $ you want to spend. I would say you have made a good choice of tires.

rtm038,
Which ever wheels you decide on, be sure they have the correct load rating. When I was looking for wheels, I found several 8-lug wheels that only had a 2100 lb rating! IMO they are not safe on a diesel truck.

Boss. That brings up a good point, I could not find the load rating for my wheels anywhere. I just assumed that they were acceptable being 8 lug. By chance do you know if my wheels were included on this list?? It's too late now, but I would like to know. Thx

coolslice,
I looked long and hard at the Diamo 8 Karat because I think it looks great But, no matter how hard I searched, I could not find anyone who could give me a load rating on it . That made me nervous but I might still have gone with them except the backspacing was not as much as I would like. That's not a problem for you because of your flairs.

(Sorry, not much of an answer . . . . . . . )

Batts,
Do you know what the backspacing is on those wheels? Do your tires rub?
