I would like the Toyos, but the zeons look cool too, and had great reviews. Just wondering how many ppl have them and like them. They should be comparable between the two...

Big wheels with little tiny sidewalls look stupid on a 4x4 IMO, but since yours is 2 WD do what you want...
(... I still wolud get rid of the 20's myself though)

My business partner just got a Hemi 1500 with 275/65/20 factory rims/tires. Parked side by side with my 265/70/17 Coopers look positively dinky in comparison.
But... I can't quite get the big wheel, small sidewall. Gut reaction, what can I say.
I would like to go 18" with 285/75/18 and get that big tire look.

I'd keep the 20s and get a better tire, Nittos look good but wear like crap on these heavier trucks, from my experience. Look into Toyos AT, if you don't find a size you want, look on Toyo's Canada website for more options, that's where I had to go for my 305/60/20s.

Thanks for the info. Toyo does make a 285/50 r20, but its hard to find on the internet, just alot of specs and crap. The toyos have a 500 treadwear and the Coopers have a 520, so I figured they'd both be good options.

your 20's look great!!!
I've heard that those short sidewalls are more prone to damage... any truth to that theory?
wouldn't mind having a set of 19.5's, but reason is for better function not looks. nothing wrong with getting both!!!

Keep the 20's I have 40K on my nitto dune grapplers and they are E rated and have been known to lite them up pretty regularly. I would bet I could get 50 to 55K from them if I wasnt spinnin them all the time. The also never chopped up on me and are quite!

Thanks for the reassurances!!!
2500, I have had no issues with sidewall damage. However, I did get a flat on a gravel road, think a piece of metal got it and ended up with 21holes caused by the rim on the sidewall. But other than that, they handle weight good, rides good, and looks great.
Runninlean, if I could find the DuneGrapplers for cheaper I could justify getting them, but there are cheaper tires available that can and will go the same distance.

I vote keep the 20's. I have those badlands in a 20in and love them, I run pro comp XTERRIAN and have been a great tire for 15k so far, they come with a 40k warranty. Im thinkin about selling mine and goin with 22in kmc monsters or 22in mkw 19's in chrome. I do wish i would have went with a 37in tire instead of a 35, my 6in lift leaves to much room and i think my truck would look better with 37's on 20's. just my .02
