I had the old version dipricol pyro and today am putting in the new optix pyro. After wiring the gauge up it doesn't work, it has light when I turn my lights on. I wired the red wire ( hot wire for guage power) to the same cigarette lighter wire that I tapped for power to my rail guage. What wire did you all use. This is a pain. Thanks, Jay

 

Well, what do the instructions say?

 

If you've got power from that cig lighter wire when key is turned on but the guage still isn't working, I'd say it's a bad guage. Or maybe you blew a fuse if there isn't power... check it out...

 

Check/change your ground!

 

Yep, mine was giving me fits.. Checked the ground wasn't too great changed it.. Wollla!! Good to go!!

 

My cigarette lighter didnt work, I hooked all my guages up, fired it up for the madien voyage only to see nothing move, turned out my cigarette lighter isnt getting power for some reason. I tapped the pink/white tracer under the column, worked great.

 

It was a bad ground, thanks guys. Jay
