I think Airflow's price on that resonator is insane... other places sell it for about $50.

but I don't think you'll need a resonator w/ a 51" Donaldson

Ok. Resonator is out the window! I'll have just enough room for the Donaldson and not much else. I'll probably be able to squeeze the cat in too!

High Ten,
I have a LB Dually as in my sig. I installed the 4040L Aero Turbin muffler right on to the cat. Just got back from a 200 mile trip pulling about same weight 5er and 15ft. boat. It has a deeper, throatier sound, but not much more than stock in the cab. Egt's dropped about 200 deg. running around 65 mph. See about 1 mpg increase. I'm very pleased with the sound of this setup. I too didn't want loud incab noise. I also have a 5" ss tip on my tailpipe. Hope this helps. Everyone has their own opinion, so this is mine.

Thanks! This Aeroturbine seems really popular so I'll keep it in mind. I really am after less noise in the cab but if I'm crusin' and want to hear some nice sound, I can just roll down the windows and it's there.

Oh yeah, can someone post a link to a website where I can read about the Aeroturbine and get some more info?

Try an Aeroturbine 4040L right on the down pipe. It should be enough to take care of the noise and good performance of the exhaust. The Aeroturbine will also stop the drone in the cab which is probably a good portion of the noise that is bothering you.
