Need a New Muffler

I have been running a MBRP muffler on my truck since I bought it. We have decided on the current trip we are on that it is just to loud pulling our 5th wheel. I am thinking about a 40" or 51" Donaldson or Nelson. I am looking for opinions on how well these flow and noise level. Also where would be the best place to get one online? Thanks

I have installed both th 40 and 51" Nelson. With the 05 pulling the fifth wheel it is great until your going up a hill, or making it work- then it's loud. The 51" on my son's 03 is not much louder than stock, with a nice mellow tone. I would have put the 51" on the 05, except for the tight fit with the CAT. It will not be loud or drone when you pull. (I see you have a long-box, so there should be no problem with the 51".)

Ted, you say it's loud on your truck, is that the 40 or 51 inch and is that with the stacks?
I have a 40" Nelson I got from my local Cummins store, 4" straight through, pics and part no. in my gallery.
Not much louder than stock, would deffinately NOT call it noisy at all, with or without the trailer.

I do not want anything louder than the MBRP. I was thinking the 51" would be the better of the two only because I would think the extra 11" would make it less noisy. Is this something I am not going to be able to find online?

My donaldson 51" (measures 45" body) was installed on my truck about three weeks ago. 5" system, much quieter than magnaflow muffler that was on it. That was about 25 inches long. It's a deep sound and better for me. I haven't towed with mine yet but I don't have to turn up the radio anymore! I have the 5" from turbo back and only the muffler and pipes. I believe I got it from someplace called Rudys Diesel online. About $60 delivered. They have them in 4" too.
