i must have gotten a bad set of EBC Yellow Stuff Diesel brake pads, the did not last me an oil change, only has 3 thousand miles on them and they were toast, i had a ridculous amount of brake dust, the worst 110 bucks i have ever spent. so i went with the stockers and i had no problem. cost me 102 bucks for the front and rear. stops fine and no brake dust.

So I was looking at my rotors and they have a bunch a fine hairline cracks in them. Im gonna assume that this isnt something that I can have turned out of them so I guess performance brakes is on the books for me pretty soon.

Anybody try the AP racing stuff? I know Stillen sells them rotor, calipers, pads and all but the kit is $1,796.00 I would almost invest the money in it if I thought it would truly be a whole lot better. I think the other brand was SSBC?

I believe Wilwood may have a brake set for our trucks. The SSBC set are 8 piston Calipers. I'd go with cryotreated rotors....drilled and slotted rotors are a no no for our trucks. ks

I REALLY wish Hawk Performance would come out with a good set of pads for our trucks! I've used them on previous vehicles and they were the only replacement pad I could tell a noticeable difference with.

I used Willwood on the IMCA dirt car and they never gave us any fuss. But Dirt racing aint real hard on brakes either.
