Truck was stock other than the tri-dog and exhaust.He was pulling a load of hay back from Georgia,tri-dog on tow setting and it just let go.Only going about 35 mph on a back country road..The local dealer in the area where the truck was towed denied warranty.He had it roll backed to N.C. dealer where he purchased it and they warrantied it with no questions asked.

im gunna try to get it to my local dealer with the electronics of off it. but i need to find a flatbed big enough to hold it.

Mine was voided b/c of headstuds. They will find any way out of it that they can.

They`re that way because of all of the ones that bomb thier trucks , then expect it to be covered under warranty.....

I agree, they shouldn`t void your warranty over guages , or exhaust , but come on...if you`re adding another 200HP and the motor lets go , why would you feel it`s a warranty issue?

The warranty issue is exactly why I'm hesitant to mod the motor in my truck. The shop foreman at my local dealer told me they commonly warranty trucks with programmers, intake, and exhaust as long as there isn't evidence of blatent stupidity. Unfirtunately I found out today they are probably going out of business due to Chrysler consolidating them with another dealer.

the closest dealership to me is the same way. they start asking questions they just assume it is modded to the moon when they see gauges so I dont take my truck in there. I drive an extra half hour to go to a dealership where they dont ask dumb questions
